THE TRUTH THAT SET ME FREE!

SELF CONTROL.

I can't have it because I am not strong-willed.

I have tried many times but I kept on failing. 

I want to have a consistent prayer and study life.

I want to stop doing all the wrong things and start doing all the right things. 

Many good intentions but I lack the will to bring them to pass. 

Every time I start doing something good and right, I'm always immediately haunted by the question. “how long will this last?”.

This was my feeling and conclusion; if I must have self-control, then I must have a strong will. 

The very thing I have tried many times to have but failed. 

I almost walked away with shame and defeat until the light of God's truth set me free!”

THIS IS THE TRUTH THAT SET ME FREE!

SELF CONTROL is not a product of strong will. It is a FRUIT of the SPIRIT.

STRONG WILL is a child of SELF WILL that sets SELF on the throne and that makes SELF the master rather than the servant. 

Of course, YOU CAN'T CONTROL YOUR MASTER!

What you need to be SELF CONTROLLED is not strong will but STRONG FAITH.

Yes! Strong faith! What type of faith?

The faith of the son of God 

The faith that works by love 

The faith that's imparted by the word of God. 

If you are born again, then you have it. 

We all have a measure of the Faith.

It may be small but we all have it.

Probably weak but we all have it.

So, 

What will you do? 

Pay attention to growing and strengthening your faith by the word. 

And you will discover your FAITH is the VICTORY that OVERCOMES. 

Salvation!

Say these words with faith: 

LORD JESUS I BELIEVE THAT YOU DIED FOR MY SINS AND ROSE AGAIN FOR MY JUSTIFICATION AND I CONFESS THAT YOU ARE THE LORD OF MY LIFE.
